Hi! I’m Aryana Guest, a 15-year-old dancer from Newport News, VA with big dreams and even bigger energy. I’ve been dancing competitively for the past 4 years at the Academy of Dance and Gymnastics—but my journey on stage actually started in gymnastics when I was just 7. While I train in many styles, Musical Theater and Lyrical have completely stolen my heart.When I’m not in the studio, you can catch me modeling as a brand ambassador for ACA, showing off fierce looks at photoshoots, or rocking a crown as Miss Commonwealth’s Teen. I’m proud to be a local titleholder with the Miss America/Miss Virginia Scholarship Organization, and I’m excited to compete for Miss Virginia’s Teen this June!Beyond dance and pageants, I love editing videos, creating comedy skits with my friends, and dreaming big. Hi! My name is Andrea Penélope Amalbert Vélez, and I’m a 13-year-old competitive dancer who has been dancing since I was 2 years old. Dance has always been a massive part of my life. It’s taught me discipline, creativity, and how to work hard for what I love. Even though I had done gymnastics for a small portion of my life, I knew dance felt more like home. However, my favorite style is jazz because I love how powerful, energetic, and expressive it can be. When I’m not in the studio, I love watching dance videos, making TikToks, and spending time with my family and friends. I hope to become a physical therapist one day to help other dancers and athletes stay strong, recover from injuries, and keep doing what they love, just like I do!

Hi! My name is Kenzie McGowan and i’m 14 years old and I am a dancer at Evelyn Ott School Of Dance and a MVP ambassador! I have been dancing for 11 years and I’ve been competing for 6 years. In those six years of competing, i’ve won 4 regional titles and been to 3 nationals. I train in all styles of dance but lyrical and jazz are my ultimate favorite styles of dance. When i’m not dancing, you can find me hanging out with friends or always shopping. I am a very social person and love spending time with all my friends and family. But in my future, my ultimate goal is to be on the LSU or Boise State Dance team and later become a DDC. I can’t wait to have you follow along with me on my ambassador journey!

Hey! I’m Emma O'Brien, I’m 15 years old born in Camp Lejeune, NC with fame on my mind. I’ve been a dancer at the Academy of Dance since I was 5 but didn’t start competitively until I was 7. My favorite styles of dance are definitely tap and jazz because I can express my sassy personality. When I’m not at the studio you can see me hanging out with my friends or my family. I LOVE musicals especially Moulin Rouge and the Phantom of the Opera. I also love watching my two favorite shows, Glee and the Walking Dead, and making videos with my dad. I think that my biggest goal or dream is to become a famous actor in a horror movie or be in a Broadway show like Moulin Rouge. Lyrical and Contemporary totally have my heart, but I love learning all styles and trying new moves. Outside of dance, I participate in musicals at my school, and my most recent role is Snoopy (Understudy), Ensemble member, and Dance Captain in my school’s production of “Your A Good Man, Charlie Brown”! I’ve enjoyed taking all technique classes & being a part of the award winning company competition team. In 2023 I had the opportunity to perform on Broadway stage & Times Square NY, it was a breathtaking experience I’ll never forget! While juggling regular school and dance classes I attend Old Donation Gifted Dance School to expand my artistry. In my free time I love to sketch anime characters, sing, and do crafts. Hi! My name is Ella, I’m 9 years old and in the 3rd grade. I have been dancing since I was 2.5 but didn’t started dancing competitively until I joined The Academy of Dance and Gymnastics Company team last July. My favorite dance styles are hip-hop, lyrical and jazz, and I enjoy musical theater too! I started playing the piano and learning to read music two years ago. I love snowboarding too! I was Miss Hampton-Newport News’ Little Sister for two years and am now am Miss Magic City’s Little Sister. I was crowned as a Miss Virginia Little Sister and love supporting this wonderful scholarship organization! I have enjoyed meeting so many other fellow dancers as an MVP ambassador! I’m excited to get to know you all better and am super excited for all of our fun photoshoots together! Dance makes me feel so happy and it’s my favorite thing to do! I'm proud to be an ambassador for McNeal Video and Portrait and ACA Dancewear, and I admire brands that combine creativity with elegance. One day, I hope to attend Juilliard, perform on Broadway, choreograph my own stories, and open a dance studio to inspire others like me!

Waverly Winstead is an energetic 8-year-old with a kind heart and even bigger dreams! A dedicated member of the Academy of Dance competition team for the past two years, Waverly trains in lyrical, tap, jazz, ballet, and gymnastics—though flips are definitely her favorite! Outside the studio, she shines just as brightly, serving as the Student Council Association Recorder at her school. Waverly also holds the title of Little Sister for Miss Newport News-Hampton through the Miss Virginia Organization’s Little Sisters Program. She’s especially proud of her fundraiser, “Waverly’s Wishes,” which raises money for the Humane Society through flower sales. With a love for performing and helping others, Waverly is eager to continue growing her dance and modeling career—because the stage is where she belongs!

With a fierce love for Hip Hop, her signature popping and locking moves—fueled by inspirations like Poppin John and Kida the Great—bring pure energy to every performance. Whether it’s to upbeat Christian Hip Hop or smooth instrumental beats, Janae’s big smile and dimples steal the spotlight every time. Off stage, she’s just as dynamic—skateboarding, shredding on guitar, jamming on the saxophone, or kicking it on her middle school soccer team (just don’t ask her to be goalie!). Her dream? Hello. My name is Camilla Null and I’m a 10 year old dancer from Yorktown, VA. I’ve been dancing at the Academy of dance since I was little but this is my 3rd year being on the competition team. I love performing on stage and my absolute favorite style of dance is Jazz. I also enjoy Musical theater very much. If not professional dancing I would love to be an actress. You might not know about it but I love scary movies like “Stranger Things” or “The Last of Us” and it would be a dream to be on a show like that. My other love is for animals so I can also see myself as a Veterinarian in the future.
